Beskrivelse
Museum
The museum is situated in the former university library building on Toome Hill. The permanent exhibition provides a survey of the university history in 1632-1710 and in 1802-2008, demonstrating apparatuses and laboratory equipment used during three centuries, presenting scientists and scientific achievements, student organisations and student life.
Considering the aspect of the history of science, the museum values most highly its collection of apparatuses, instruments, devices and various collections used in the university for scientific research since its foundation.
The museum has two conference halls, in one of them concerts are organised.
Dome Cathedral towers
The Dome Cathedral towers reflect the history of the building and serve as viewing platforms to the city.
The Old Anatomical Theatre
The Old Anatomical Theatre (Lossi Street 38) occupies a position of considerable importance in the history of Estonian medicine, having served the UT Faculty of Medicine since 1803. Visitors are offered an exhibition of the history of medicine
