Apraksts
Udumäe Hostel is located in Helme Parish, Valgamaa, 4.5 kilometres from the town of Tõrva and 2.5 kilometres from Helme. From a bird's-eye view it's behind Helme Local Lore Museum, very close are also the ruins of the church, Helme Caves and Castle Hill. The farm is situated in a small quiet place in the beautiful scenery, 2.5 kilometres from the big road, separately from other houses. We offer big lawns, a ball ground, a campfire place, a playground, bikes, sauna, tenting and transport facilities.
When the weather is not very good, the guests are welcome to use the following services offered by Tõrva Sports Club: full measure gym (suitable for tennis tournaments or various sports games), weight room, sauna, solarium, massage parlour. It's possible to ask the masseur to come to the hostel, too.
In Tõrva you can enjoy swimming in two beautiful lakes in summer, the river Õhne is nearby and the river Emajõgi 9 kilometres away. It's about 10 kilometres to beautiful forest lakes in Koorküla and Koorküla Caves; Holdre and Taagepera Castle, also Barclay de Tolly Mausoleum are quite close.
On the neighbouring farms there are riding and hunting possibilities. In winter you can enjoy a skiing holiday here as well, it's 30 kilometres to Kuutsemäe and 50 kilometres to Otepää from here but we can also offer local ski tracks. The farm is a suitable place to spend your holidays either with family members, friends or colleagues or hold small conferences.
