In addition to sales of flight tickets to 180 destinations in Europe and a variety of e-services, Estonian Air is offering also travel insurance on its home page. Estonian Air’s travel insurance cooperation partner is ERGO Kindlustuse AS.
Price calculation, contract making, payment settling and policy printing is easy and convenient for customers, taking time only for a moment.

According to ERGO’s board member Marek Zacek, cooperation with the national airline is a sort of quality mark. „Customers of Estonian Air can be sure that they get a comprehensive and reliable protection for themselves and their baggage prior to the flight. Together with Estonian Air, we wish to simplify and fasten the process of buying travel insurance, in order to offer carefree and pleasant flights,“ added Zacek.
ERGO’s travel insurance, provided on Estonian Air’s homepage, is offering protection from unexpected cases before and during the trip. ERGO’s travel insurance covers the costs of interrupted or cancelled trips, the cost of first aid and emergency care and costs related to baggage. As a major difference, ERGO’s travel insurance will become effective immediately after the moment of purchase, bringing into effect extensive baggage insurance compensations in case of damage, delay or loss of items. ERGO also provides insurance holders free of charge Estonian language travel assistance, advises if they are stranded abroad and provides assistance in organising their home trip.
