Tour Description
Have a splendid walk in Tallinn Old Town, enter into interesting discussions with your local guide, and learn about history and everyday life of this small country.The old city with its romantic cobblestone streets, charming red roofs, medieval and gothic style houses is the best preserved old town in northern Europe. Admire the picturesque lower town, the fortified town wall with many towers, the Town Hall, one of the oldest continuously functioning pharmacies in the world, St. Olav's Church, Aleksander Nevskij's Cathedral, the Houses of Parlament and experience the magnificent panoramic views from Toompea Hill.
Your guide shows you around, talks about interesting legends and facts, but not only… Although the city dates back centuries, the conversation goes on different subjects and this is your opportunity to discover the nowadays life of Estonians. Instead of having a monologue-type observation of the city, you will enter into friendly discussion and learn about the country through local eyes.
The guide can also take you to an optional visit to the Marzipan museum where you have a chance to do marzipan modelling and painting (for an additional cost).
Tallinn Old Town walking tour is the easiest way to have an enjoyable sightseeing in Tallinn.
