Luhtre farm has its roots in 1874 and up to year 1999 one family has lived here. Unfortunate fate has left the family without children and the farm was passed to a good neighbour, the present owner of the farm Kaido Schmidt.
There is someone for everyone and it is very true about the present landlord and landlady of the farm. Having met only in year 2003 and the farm restored with love speaks for itself. From here you can find the lifelong dream, love and generosity of these two people. Come and become part of it all and your life becomes more beautiful.
The guesthouse has been built with the inspiration brought along from trips all over the world. The service provided here is the kind the family itself would like to receive. Food has been prepared according to the recipes dating back to year 1924 when the old landlady was still attending home economics school. Food products in the field have been grown without artificial chemicals. Dairy products come from the village nearby, and the landlord himself brings game home from the forest.
There is a spacious sauna with a pool which is very refreshing in warm summer months as the nearest swimming place in Pärnu is 65 kilometres from here.
The dining hall in the barn dwelling is a suitable place for holding birthday parties, weddings and other events. There is enough space for 60 people. At one time 30 people can spend a night here. In summer time there is a possibility to pitch a tent. A cosy campfire place within the convenient distance
from the house is a good place to relax in the evenings.
The parking lot is right next to the guesthouse. We have an opportunity to wash a car.
The rooms have a TV, a shower and a toilet. All rates include breakfast. Lunch and dinner are available with advance notice. |
