Description
VAT Theatre is the oldest Estonian free theatre group formed in 1987 in Tallinn. The theatre is playing both for children and adults.
VAT produces classics in its own way and makes co-work with young Estonian playwrights. VAT Teater has an own hall in the rooms of the Estonian National Library. The group has taken part of festivals in Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Russia, Ukraine, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Poland, Germany, France, Turkey, Japan ja Zimbabwe, has performed behind the polar line and on the other side of the equatorial line.
VAT Teater is the member of the Estonian Theatre Association, IETM, the Estonian Centre of ASSITEJ, the Estonian Union of Non-profit Associations and Foundations, Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Association of Free Education.
