Description
The Caucasian mountain people want to pamper their guests with the best food they have to offer: courses made of black sheep.
Typical for Caucasian kitchen are different shashliks of beef, lamb and poultry grilled on charcoal, and for vegetarians different courses made of eggplant, squash, beans, etc.
The Caucasian courses gets their special flavor from coriander, tarragon, mint, basil and other herbs, as well as garlic.
For the lovers of spicy food we recommend lamb soup “hartšoo” and the sauce “adžika”. For those with tender palate warm cheese pie “hatšapuri” and chicken with “satsivi” sauce made of walnuts.
